Main hall
The main hall is licensed for 240 people (standing), 90 seated and 60 seated at tables. The hall measures approximately 40' x 20' (12m x 6m). The ceiling slopes from a maximum of 12' to 9' (3.6m to 2.7m). There is good access for those who are less mobile.
The hall is in good decorative condition, has a polished wood floor, and has been fitted with sound-dampening panels to improve the acoustics. We have 15 large tables, 11 smaller ones, and approximately 100 chairs.
Wi-fi is available and, for audio-visual presentations, there is a large drop-down screen and an address system with roving microphone. Please note that as there is no blackout facility AV presentations are only feasible during hours of darkness.
The cost of heating is included in your booking.
Committee room
The committee room, measuring approximately 15' x 15' (4.5m x 4.5m) is ideal for smaller groups and seats about 20.
Kitchen
The kitchen, approximately 140sqm, has a large serving hatch to the main hall. It is well equipped with a range-style cooker, a food warming trolley and a commercial dishwasher. There is an urn and two fridges (without freezers). Crockery and cutlery is included in the cost of the hire as well as a limited supply of glasses.

There is parking for approximately 60 cars adjacent the hall.
Grounds
Double doors lead to an enclosed patio garden, complete with picnic benches. Alongside the hall is a large, attractive playing field (no dogs allowed) with two football goals and lovely play area with swings, a slide, a rope traverse, spring horse, stepping posts and two balance beams. This was replaced in 2023 thanks to fundraising and donations from the community and a generous grant from The National Lottery.
