The Lea Lunch Club
Last Wednesday of the month (except July and August)
12.30 – 2.30pm
Come along and enjoy great food and company, We serve a hot, three-course, home-cooked lunch for just £7.00 a head. This is always a lively event with much chat and laughter and we extend a warm welcome to everyone that comes along, whether alone or with friends.

Lea Café
First Wednesday of the month
10.00 – 11.30am
Everyone in Lea is very welcome to just turn up, either to pop in for a quick coffee or to stay for the whole two hours. The coffee mornings were set up to help combat loneliness by creating a warm, welcoming, friendly space for all of us villagers to meet our neighbours, have a chat, share a cup of coffee and cake and feel part of our village life. It is FREE to all Lea residents with no rules, just a prevailing air of acceptance and kindness to one another. Apart from during the pandemic, we have met almost every month for the past six years.

Short Mat Bowls
Tuesdays, 7.30 – 9.30pm
Looking for a new hobby, or something different for a fun and relaxing evening? Come and try short mat bowls at our friendly club. All ages and abilities welcome. First session free and we provide bowls and shoes.

Digital Safe Spaces
As part of a new countrywide venture aimed at those wanting to learn about the Internet and how to use a computer, we now have a computer available on a one-to-one basis. We will try to have a volunteer available at the Lea Café (see above) and on a “ring for an appointment scheme” at other times.
